At Urban Office, we're committed to ensuring prospective members have all the details before they sign an agreement with us. Our locations in Houston, San Antonio & Austin TX are open for tours, and our community managers would be glad to have a conversation about your needs. Most of our rental agreements for office space last 12 months. However, we're happy to accommodate agreements as short as six months. If you already have an office space with us, you can always upgrade to a larger space at your location during your agreement.

All office spaces and common areas are accessible to members 24/7. Each location uses secure entry measures.

After choosing an office space for rent, members are welcome to decorate their office and add furniture to their liking. You'll have complete control over your office; we just ask that you keep the office in good condition and leave it tidy upon moving out. For an additional fee, we will provide a furnished office with a sit/stand desk, chair, rolling storage drawers, and guest chairs.

Members can upgrade to a large office at their location at any point during their membership agreement.

Small office spaces for rent at Urban Office come with their own mailing address. You'll be able to send and receive letters and packages.

Offices do not have phone lines. However, you're more than welcome to install your own using your office's prewired phone outlet.

Conference rooms are available at all but one of our locations (629 W. 19th in Houston). These can be used for large or small meetings as long as you have a reservation. Reservations are taken on a first-come, first-served basis via our mobile app.

Onsite parking is available for all members and their employees at no additional cost.

  • Proximity: Our office spaces are scattered across Houston, San Antonio & Austin TX, which means there's likely one close to your home. Map out distances and decide how much of a commute you'd like. You could choose a building close to your apartment complex, or opt for one near your favorite restaurants.
  • Walkable Amenities: A key feature of Urban Office is our locations' walkability. However, each building has something different within walking distance. You might want the building that's closest to shopping venues, or you may choose the one in the thriving Museum District. Be sure to ask our team about the walkable amenities in the vicinity.
Atmosphere: Atmosphere is essential in any office space. Each of our locations has an upscale, modern design, but each place may have a slightly different vibe. Here's where you'll need to go with your gut—tour a few of the top contenders and choose the place where you feel most comfortable.

The traditional coworking space is loud, crowded, and all-in-all unproductive. Many of these buildings are in the middle of downtown without onsite parking and too much hustle and bustle before you ever get to your workday. Urban Office is quite the opposite of this typical picture of coworking. Our spaces have all of the following:

Coworking provides a shared environment where professionals from different industries operate under one roof. Unlike traditional offices, the coworking model gives you more flexibility through month-to-month or yearly membership agreements. You’ll gain a private workspace plus access to high-end shared amenities. Our coworking spaces in Houston, Austin, and San Antonio create a professional community without the high overhead costs of a standard commercial lease.

Hot-desking is a flexible membership option for people who don’t need a permanent desk every day. You simply find an available spot in our common area and start working. This choice is typically suitable for professionals who travel often or work a hybrid schedule. Our hot desks grant you full access to our amenities and communal spaces that enhance your workday.

Our locations don’t employ a traditional receptionist to greet every visitor. Instead, a community manager stays on-site most of the time to handle tours and maintain amenities. Our managers work from their own offices rather than a front desk. You manage your own entry and guests using our convenient smartphone app and digital tenant portal.

Your visitors will find a professional and quiet environment when they arrive for appointments. Since you have a private office with a real door, you can hold confidential meetings or therapy sessions without worrying about unwanted interruptions. Our spaces feature a modern, elevated design with plenty of natural light from windows and skylights. And we offer furnished office options if you prefer a move-in-ready solution today. You can also choose an unfurnished room to add your own personal style and branding. Either way, the interior creates an upscale vibe that far exceeds a standard gray cubicle or home office.

Flexibility is what defines our business model, and we always give you the option to upgrade your membership mid-agreement. If your team grows and you need more space, we’ll move you into a larger suite immediately. This agility allows your company to scale up without unnecessary stress and, ultimately, avoid the rigid constraints of a traditional commercial contract.

You can leave your heavy printing equipment at home. Our locations feature high-tech printers with scanning and copying capabilities ready for your use. We have machines that work with AirPrint technology, so you can send documents directly from your devices. And we include a monthly fixed amount of prints in your all-inclusive membership cost. This amenity saves you money and office footprint for other tasks.

If you need a quiet, upscale setting, you can reserve a professional conference room even if you don’t use a private office every day. Our rooms feature AirTame technology and all the equipment you need to launch your presentations easily during important meetings. Our huddle rooms also provide great spaces for a quick collaboration. Simply book the time you need through the member portal.
